Reservation Policy

Please review the Cancellation Policy and Method of Payment as paying a deposit means acceptance of these terms and conditions.

COSTA RICA FISHING EXPERTS BOAT CANCELLATION POLICY:

A percent deposit is needed to confirm your booking. The balance must be pay to the captain on the day of the fishing trip in cash or on the first day of fishing for multiple days.
– If a cancellation is received 15 days or more prior to the first day of fishing, 50 % of the deposit will be refunded.
– If a cancellation is received between 14 and 8 days prior to the first day of fishing, 25% of the deposit will be refunded.
– There are no refunds on cancellations received 7 days or less prior to the first day of fishing.
– If the captain is sick or the boat cannot go out due to mechanical difficulties, there is no charge for the day(s), and a full refund for the day(s) in question will be given. If availability allows it, the angler may choose to reschedule the charter.
– If the captain cancels due to stormy weather and dangerous conditions, there is no charge for the day(s), and a full refund for the day(s) in question will be given. If availability allows it, the angler may choose to reschedule the charter.
– If the captain suggests canceling the charter due to inclement weather and the angler insists ongoing, no refund shall be given even if the boat only spends a short time at sea.
– Note: there are no cancellations due to rain since rain in central pacific usually consists of localized squalls that come and go.

Balance: pay in cash Dollars or Colones are accepted forms of payment.
